He made his debut with a minor role as “Jijo” in the early nineties’ Zee TV series ‘Tara’ (TV series). He came into prominence in the role of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) in the mid 1990s TV series ‘Hasratein’ where he portrayed the character of a wealthy Boss who exploited his married employee (Savi) into having an extramarital affair with him. In 2007, he played a similar character in the film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag featuring Rani Mukerji. Harsh Chhaya has acted in a number of TV serials and films, including Madhur Bhandarkar’s films Corporate and Fashion. His performance as Vinay Khosla, a gay dress designer was notable in Fashion. Harsh Chhaya has also worked with Salim Arif’s company Essay Communications and has acted in the play HUM SAFAR along with Lubna Salim.
